REQUIREMENTS:         Project                                   10%

                                        Homework and Quizzes         15%

Homework:
Homework problems from the text will be assigned on a regular basis.  Some of these problems will be turned in for a grade.  Even those that are not graded are for your benefit.  They will help prepare you for quizzes and tests.  For problems that are not to be turned in for a grade, you may work with others (social distancing of course)!.  These may also be discussed in class if there are questions.   Other homework and small computer assignments may be assigned to be collected for a grade.  All assignments to be collected for a grade should be done independently.  Cases of academic dishonesty will be reported to the Office of Student Affairs and will go on file.    Please read the campus policy.

All written turn-in assignments must be completed in pencil or preferrably typed from the computer. NO INK PLEASE!  All solutions must be accompanied by clearly written interpretations and conclusions in complete sentences.

Project:
Everyone will be expected to participate in a group project.  The nature of the project will be explained in detail at a later date.  Each group will give a presentation and turn in a written report of results.  The grade for the project will be based upon content/effort, presentation, and the written report. There will also be an in class grade for each student each day during the presentations.  That is, all students are expected to attended presentations of classmates.  Students who are absent during another group's presentation will receive a zero for homework that day. Project topics should be approved by Nov. 13.
