Introduction

Attention all Harry Potter Fans! We are sponsoring an art and writing contest for children of all ages.  We need a few artist designers to create a masterpiece of Harry's first year at Hogwarts.  The winners will receive A Nimbus Two Thousand Broomstick.  Good Luck!

Task

Make a scrapbook for Harry Potter's first year at Hogwarts.  Draw pictures and retell experiences Harry had during his first year at school.  This can be done in Microsoft PowerPoint and presented to the class by each team.  This serves as an alternative assessment for Language Arts.  A rubric for scoring will arrive by owl soon.
