International Children's Literature Course:  Ireland and Wales July, 2009
Salisbury University takes a three week long course on the road to meet with authors and illustrators in Ireland and Wales

Salisbury University's Children's and Young Adult Literature Festival

Eastern Shore Children’s Literature Series

       
This spring the Teacher Education Department and the Seidel School will sponsor a series of authors and illustrators whose children’s books have impacted the Eastern Shore. Bryan Collier, a native of Pokemoke, and an award winning author and illustrator will visit SU in February 11 at 5 pm in TETC 153, followed by a reception and book-signing at 6 pm.

Author Priscilla Cummings is well known on the Eastern Shore and for good reason, she writes books, like Red Kayak and Chadwick the Crab that many children in the area can relate to.  Cummings will visit SU on March 11 at 5 pm in TETC 153 followed by a reception and book-signing at 6 pm.
