International Children's Literature:
Tentative Agenda

Cost of the program ($3800) includes all travel, fees, 3 credits tuition, accomodations, breakfasts, and an international student ID card (which carries with it minimal insurance needed).

Lunch and dinner (with the exceptions of two banquets) are individual and not paid for as part of the program. Students are advised to bring $40 per day for food expenses.

April TBA -- Meeting with Director of International Programs to fill out pertinent paperwork, discuss travel arrangements.

May TBA – Meeting to review the syllabus and reading list.

July TBA -- Course commences at Salisbury University will meet for two 3 hour sessions.  Students living off the Eastern Shore can arrange to do this work online.

July 21  -- Bus from Salisbury University to BWI. Fly to Iceland (leave BWI at 8:45 P.M.).

July  22 -- 24 Iceland  (arrive in Iceland 7:45 AM).  Visit the Blue Lagoon.        blue lagoon

Stay at Guesthouse 101 in Reykjavik.

Visit Culture House-- see Icelandic sagas

Meet with Andri Magnason author of Blue Planet.  and Ragnheiður Gestsdóttir author of The Sword Bearer

July 25-26  arrive in Copenhagen.   Stay at Danshostel

July  28  Leave Hamburg by 9 AM. for Bremen (2 hour drive)
