Introduction

You have just been hired by the local newspaper to write an unbiased column that will link different views from other newspapers around the world.

Task

After finishing the book The Landry News, you will take on the role as a news reporter and will write for the local newspaper.  You will have to review other articles from newspapers around the world, and choose a topic that is a current and enduring issue.

Process

1. Read The Landry News
2. Look up different articles from various newspapers at http://newsdirectory.com/news/press
3. Choose a topic that is a current issue in today’s world to write your article about.
4. Compile information gathered from various newspaper articles on you topic.
5. Compose and unbiased article about your topic.
6. After finishing your article, write a reflection about the different views that were expressed in the articles that you researched.  And tell how the different views influence the public perception of the the issue that is being reported on.
