Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture, a regional repository and study center for primary and secondary historical sources relating to the Delmarva peninsula. Located at Salisbury State University, it has been open to the public since 1982.
• Have led numerous historical field trips to various European countries between. 1972-1986.
• Panelist on the Salisbury State University Project: "Land Use on the Eastern Shore," funded by the Maryland Council for the Humanities.
• Have served on or directed numerous Maryland Humanities Council grant projects.
