My specialty is Philosophy of Religion and I teach courses that address questions such as these: Does God exist? What is the nature of religious experience? Is it possible to be religious in the modern world? My other courses include "Love, Marriage, and Family---Philosophical Reflections," "Existentialism," "Theory of Knowledge," and "Philosophy of Reverence." I write on a regular basis both for professional journals and for a wider "non- academic" audience. I've published two books: The Way of Suffering: A Geography of Crisis and In the Throe of Wonder: Intimations of the Sacred in a Post-modern World
