Additional materials will be given in class.

Objectives:

The materials in German 105 are designed to reinforce the listening and speaking skills taught in German 101.  They will strengthen and increase the student's vocabulary.   The additional materials that will be given or assigned during the class sessions will help to increase the student's cultural awareness.

Toward the beginning of the semester the exercise assignments will be made.  Students will work independently on the assigned exercises.  Problems or questions will be discussed during one of the 8 compulsory meetings.  The written work will be due at the times stated by your instructor.  Absolutely all written work must be turned in by Monday of the 13th week of class.  Any practicum not handed in by Friday of that week will receive a "0."

Attendance at the compulsory meeting is essential.  You will earn 25 points at each meeting.  Missed points cannot be made -up.

Grading System:

Of the total number of points possible you will need:

100-90% for an A

 89-80% for a B
