Write a reflective essay in which you discuss how Chris McCandless might understand "wilderness." Based on the book, what is "wilderness" for Chris, and what does it represent?  PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A BOOK REVIEW. Instead, this is an essay dealing with one particular theme in the book. Make sure that you have a clear thesis statement - an argument - in which you explain what you think wilderness means to McCandless. Please do not spend any time explaining what happened - assume that your audience has read the book. Also, papers that fail to use direct quotations from the book as evidence to prove their thesis can get no higher than a "C."  Your paper should be two full pages, typed, with a reasonable font and reasonable margins (less than 1 1/2 inches). No title is required, nor is a title page needed.
