71st Annual ISCC General Information
The Chemistry Department at Salisbury University (SU) will host the 71st Annual Intercollegiate Student Chemists Convention on Saturday, April 14 from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. All talks will be given in Henson Science Hall. This conference is an opportunity for undergraduates to present their chemical research discoveries. Students will give talks in the areas of Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. Non-SU faculty and scientists from industry and government will serve as judges. First and second prizes will be awarded to the best talks in each area of chemistry. If you are student interested in giving a talk, please read the Call for Papers before registering. The deadline for submitting an abstract is Friday, March 23, 2007. There is an early registration fee of $25 per person if you register before April 1, 2007. On-site registration on the day of the conference will be $30. The keynote speaker is Dr. Paul Chirik from Cornell University. |
