Presentation Format

The tentative time limit for each presentation is 15 minutes, and each speaker will be alerted when 2 minutes and1 minute remains in the talk.  A question period of 3 minutes will follow each presentation. Advice regarding PowerPoint:

  • Use standard fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, Courier)

  • Avoid animations with sound.

  • Only use movies if they are essential to the research description.

  • Use white backgrounds.

  • Make sure that you can easily read your projected PowerPoint slides from the back of an unlit classroom.

There will be a wireless mouse and laser pointer available in each room.
