It is easy to get zero credit for certain problems in Discrete Mathematics.  Here are some examples:

-- In writing a proof, start by assuming what you are expected to prove.
-- In writing a proof by induction, omit the definition of  statement n and
                   omit discussion of statement 1, statement k, and statement k+1.
