IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED CREDIT (including transfer credit) for a course, you may not afterward receive credit for another course which contains equivalent material or which is a prerequisite to the credited course. For example, if you have credit for MATH151, you may not afterward receive credit for MATH155; and if you have credit for MATH201, you may not afterward receive credit for MATH102.
TO ANYONE REPEATING A COURSE:
You are permitted to repeat at SU a course you took previously at SU.
The NEWER grade (not necessarily the better grade) will count in your
GPA.
TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DROP LATE:
In the schedule of classes, the registrar's office publishes the latest
date you may withdraw from a course with a grade of W, (meaning no grade
is charged against your GPA).
Do not wait until the last minute. If you miss the deadline,
it is nearly impossible to withdraw later. Exceptions for MATH courses
must be made by the dean of the Henson School of Science and Technology,
and he almost never makes any. Even to get the dean to listen to
your story, you must get a recommendation from me; and my recommendation
is NO, because you had half a semester to decide.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
