Introduction: 
Many teachers face the reality of having only one or a few computers for a large group of students.  The problem is finding effective strategies to integrate the technology  while keeping classroom management in check.  Use the following Treasure Hunt to find ways to make use of the limited technological resources in the classroom.  Answer the questions by using the links within each question, then answer the Big Question.

Questions:
1.  When integrating technology, how should you group students?  What roles can be given to students within their groups?

2.  When creating pairs of students, how should the pairs be selected?

3.  What are some suggested strategies for scheduling time on the computer? 

4.  How can you keep track of student use of  the computer?

5.  Why are groups of 3-5 preferred?

6.  How might a teacher schedule access to the computer in a technology integrated lesson?

7.  Give three examples of useful posters to assist with managing classroom technology.  

8.  What are some roles that could be delegated to individual students when using the computer teams?  

9.  What are some roles that could be delegated to individual students when creating whole-class spreadsheets?

10.  What are three suggestions for ensuring that all students get equal access to the computer? 

Big Question: 
What are the better strategies for managing computer technology  in your classroom?  Develop a lesson plan that utilizes the computer as a learning tool for students.
