Evaluation Procedures
There will be three exams and a comprehensive final along with weekly homework
assignments and several quizzes to be announced. On all problems, you must show your work.
No work, no credit (even for correct answers). This applies to exams as well.
In general, there will be no make up exams.
The final grade for the course will be calculated in the following fashion:
Homework, Quizzes 30%, Tests 50%, Final 20%. If your grade on the final exam
is higher than on any of your other test scores it will replace the lowest
test score.

Attendance Policy:
You are expected to attend all classes. If you miss a class, it is your
responsibility to get the notes and the assignments from another member of the
class.

Homework:
Homework will be assigned through WebAssign.
Should you have any questions regarding homework please feel free to ask between classes or during my office hours.
In order to complete the homework, you will need an access code and class key. Note: The access code either comes bundled with the textbook purchased or needs to be purchased separately. For instructions on how to set up your account, click the following Set up WebAssign account.

Monday, August 26: Classes Begin.
Friday, August 30: Last day to drop/add without penalty.
Monday, September 2: No class (Labor Day).
Friday, October 25: Last day to withdraw with grade of W.
Wednesday, November 27 - Friday, November 29: No class (Thanksgiving).
Friday, December 6: Classes End.
Friday, December 13: Final Exam, 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm, Location: HS 341

Henson Course Repeat Policy:
Students may repeat courses offered by the Henson School of Science & Technology one time at Salisbury University without special permission.

Departmental Tutoring Center:
The Mathematics and Computer Science Department provides free tutoring for students enrolled in 100- and 200- level math and computer science courses. It opens each semester on the first week of class and continues to the last day of class. The center is closed during final exam week and school holidays. The Tutoring Center is located at the Mathematics Emporium in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons (GAC), room 201 and operates on a walk-in basis, no appointment necessary.
