First Assignment: Find the syllabus & Class policies on the web; read them carefully and E-mail me, telling me that you have done so.
Discussion/Board Problems not to be turned in:
- Chapter 2:44,45,53-59, 60-64
- Chapter 3: all the "self-test" problems.
- Chapter 4: all the "self test" problems plus each individual will present one of the applications from Chapter 4. Some of the longer applications are assigned to groups who will divide the application up appropriately. Click here for the dates and assignments.

- Chapter 7 11, 16, 17, 25, 34. Where appropriate, use the linear programming module AND a specialized module to solve.
Group problems to be turned in:
- Each group (of 2 or 3) will be assigned either the Product Mix case problem (pg 121) or the Truck Leasing Strategy case problem (pg 122)
- Each group (of 2 or 3) will be assigned either theAssigning Umpire Crews case problem (pg 330) or the Distribution System Design case problem (pg 332)
