Listen to a public radio newscast on NPR; ( e.g. Morning Edition; All Things Considered, World, BBC news, etc.).

1.   In one double-spaced typed page, summarize your observations about the program and the local breaks.

 

2.   Then, on another page, answer the following questions:

a. How many stories were presented? 

b. What was the order of presentation?

c. How long were the stories? (approx. time)

d. What was the information presented in the stories? (title, brief description)

e. What were the types of Lead lines?
