Save, Copy, and Print

In the menu or the toolbar you have the options to save the image of the schedule card to a BMP, JPG or PNG file, copy the image to the clipboard, or print the image out to a printer.

When saving the image a save as dialog box will appear allowing you to select the folder and filename of the image file. The type of image file (BMP, JPG or PNG) is determined in a number of ways. If your Files of Type box is set to all files then the program looks at the extension of the filename you select. It will use that extension to select the type and if none is supplied or if the extension is not a valid type it will use jpg as the default. If the Files of Type box is set to a specific type and no extension is given in the name it will use that type but if an extension is given in the name this will override the Files of Type setting.

When you select Print Preview from either the menu or the toolbar the print preview dialog box will appear, pictured below. There are three items in the toolbar. The first is to toggle between portrait and landscape, the initial setting is landscape. The second item displays the page setup options for you to change margins and other settings depending on your printer. The third option displays the print dialog box to select other settings and send the print job to the printer. There is also a zoom slider at the bottom to scale the display of the pages in the dialog box. Note that this does not change the printed image. Also note that if the image goes outside the margins it will automatically be divided into several pages.
