PURPOSE: The purpose of these labs is to give students practical
applications of material covered in the lecture class.
PROCEDURES: This labs are self paced and follow the lab
manual. The instructor will from time to time give examples and
demonstrations.
Requirements: Students are expected to be at all labs on
time! If you need to miss a lab for any reason, please
contact
the instructor a.s.a.p. All pre-lab activities are to be
completed BEFORE coming to lab. Students are expected to remain
the whole time or until they have correctly
completed all the assignments of the
lab. They may leave early only if the assignments are finished,
they are correct (which means the students has tested all of them and
found the results to be correct on various types of data) and turned in
to the instructor. If for any reason you need to
leave the lab early, please let the instructor know before the class
begins.
Students will be graded on each lab. Student who stay the full
time and do not complete the lab assignments will be allowed to turn
the unfinished work in no later than 48 hours after the lab. No
work will be accepted after that. No work will be accepted for a
missed lab unless the person has an excused absence.
NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE LAB! NOTE: You should test your
lab assignments before leaving. Assignments will be graded on the
Web.
The final lab grade will be determined by the average of all lab
grades.
A 90 -100
B 80 - 89
C 70 - 79
D 60 - 69
F 0 - 59
NEITHER Cell phones NOR MP3 players (or other audio/visual
equipment) are to be used during class or lab time. (No calls and
no text messaging during class) Silence your phones in all classes and labs
