Exploring the Chesapeake's Forgotten River: Perspectives on the Wicomico

Welcome!  In January of 2002, thirteen students at Salisbury University enrolled in a course on "Local Environmental History." On the first day of class, they were given their semester assignment: as a  team, they were to research the environmental history of the Wicomico River, which passed less than a mile from their classroom.  By the end of May, they were to have written a book sharing what they had found.  This is that book.
