Eating Delmarva:
Agricultural Transformations in Wicomico County, 1880-Present

Eating Delmarva is a student publication that is the result of a class project in 2004. It is arranged in a rough chronological order. The chapters are designed to be read sequentially, as they build upon earlier analyses and arguments, but each chapter also stands on its own. Thus, if you are primarily interested in the Wicomico County canning industry, you can jump straight to chapter 4-6.  Not surprisingly, there is far more detail about agriculture in Wicomico County than could fit into ten chapters. Each chapter has a separate bibliography, and the sources indicated there are useful places to look for further detail about the topics raised in these essays.
