PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of Soccer Sessions Soccer Camps is to provide each participant with the opportunity to play with more confidence while improving his or her skills. All participants will be challenged through technical training and competitive situations. The camps are structured to give all soccer players the chance to improve individual skills while preparing for the upcoming season. In addition to the many soccer skills reviewed, the camp also emphasizes the importance of fair play, good sportsmanship, and respect for yourself, teammates, and coaches. All this is done in a positive atmosphere conducive to both learning and fun. Coaches Lee & DiBartolo continue to promote the game they love on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware.
Co-Ed
Day Camps
The
co-ed day camps are open to boys and girls ages 6 to 16 years of all skill
levels. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Evening Camps
The
Boys' Evening Advanced Camp is available for boys ages 14-17 who will be
entering high school in the fall or are currently playing competitive high school soccer. It is
specifically designed to challenge and prepare athletes for game day. The
focus will be on game situations, training, tactics and strategies. Basic
player skills are a prerequisite and higher levels of competency are required.
Each evening will consist of technical skill development--both at an individual
and group level, in addition to games and competitive events. The
university gym will be available for indoor soccer. Players will be
exposed to various competitive situations, including emphasis on rules, team
tactics, and sportsmanship. To ensure a quality training experience,
registration is limited for this camp.
The Girls' Evening Advanced Camp is offered for girls ages 14-17 years who
will be entering and/or playing competitive high school soccer in the fall. This specialized camp also focuses on technical
skills and tactics for game situations. In addition to competitive events
and scrimmages, skill development at both an individual and group level is
emphasized. Again, to ensure a quality experience, registration is limited for
this camp.
*Specialized goalkeeping training will also be available during the evening camp sessions.
