Watch a PBS television newscast (Newshour, BBC World News) and a Commercial television (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) newscast.  Answer the following questions for both:

A. 5 points 

1. How many stories were presented? 

2. What was the order of presentation?

3. How long were the stories? (approx. time)

4. What was the information presented in the stories? (title, brief description)

5. What were the types of Lead lines?

B. 10 points 

Take any one news story (min 60 sec) from each broadcast and transcribe it, using the standard TV news format.
